Central Washington Biodiesel is a new link on Saveearth.net and is the only "100% Washington made biodiesel fuel. Central Washington Biodiesel will focus on using Washington-produced vegetable oil to produce biodiesel, and we will target agricultural markets as consumers of our biodiesel. Off-road agricultural and construction equipment produce far more air pollutants than over-the-road diesel engines. " (source http://www.cwbiodiesel.com)

CW Biodiesel

This site has good source of information explaining biodiesel, how its made, what different sources are and which are better for our planet.

Climate Ark

Climate Ark is another new link on SaveEarth.net. Their site is a "climate change and global warming portal and search engine that promotes public policy that addresses global climate change through reductions in carbon dioxide and other emissions, renewable energy, energy conservation and ending deforestation." Thats a mouthful, but when you go to their site here you find an easy use layout with all sorts of news about the climate running down the left hand side and very resourceful blog covering all aspects of climate change.

01-02-2008 @ 16:39,WebSite Highlights,lgjhost,

Wanted to share a new addition to SaveEarth.net. Its a blog by Dave Pollard covering "environmental philosophy, creative works, business papers and essays. In search of a better way to live and make a living, and a better understanding of how the world really works." (source http://blogs.salon.com/0002007/)
How to save earth
Dave has a lot of wisdom, insight, and good information available in one spot. I like his take on New years resolutions as Mid Year Intentions especially number 2 on his list
"Live simpler. Buy less, use less, consume less, owe less, need less. Live lighter on the land. Love Gaia, the community of all-life-on-Earth." you can read more from Dave HERE!

Have you herd of this? Nor had I...until reading up on this from one of the links on SaveEath.net This new fuel cell technology is easily deployed and is able to provide electricity through the internal reformation of waste water gas to generate the hydrogen to generate power with "virtually zero smog emissions." Direct Fuel CellTheir site FuelCellEnergy goes into detail explaining how fuel cells work and how their products using direct fuel cell energy are easily deployed and reach high levels of efficiencies.

SaveEarth.net first goal...Education

12-30-2007 @ 14:52,SaveEarth.net Mission,lgjhost,

SaveEarth.net has set our first goal of 10 XO computers from the One Laptop Per Child OLPC program. As you begin to think about saving the planet you realize education is key. One program with this mission to educate the planet is the OLPC program.
XO Laptop
"One learning child. One connected child. One laptop at a time.

The mission of One Laptop per Child (OLPC) is to empower the children of developing countries to learn by providing one connected laptop to every school-age child. In order to accomplish our goal, we need people who believe in what we’re doing and want to help make education for the world’s children a priority, not a privilege. " (source http://www.laptop.org)
